ANNOUNCING: The Handwritten Contest Winners!!!

November 22, 2018

Last month, we asked you all to send in photos of your handwritten short stories, poems, or words in general – and boy, did you deliver!

We received so many amazing submissions, from writers in seven different countries. We really enjoyed clicking through the photos and looking each person's unique penmanship and heartfelt writing.

It truly was difficult to choose just a few pieces to feature. If you sent a piece in, thank you. Don't ever stop sharing your art.

Now, congratulations to our two grand prize winners!

“Information Scientists Now Know” by Colleen Lawrence

“Maybe It’s Better We Forget Dreams After the Mourning” by Alexander Matthew Canlas from USA

The following submissions received an honorary mention and will also be published on the Project Canvas website.

“Twinkle” by Lisa Elis from Canada

“Stitching a Story” by Michele Wilder from Wisconsin, USA

“First Love” by Annie Louise Twitchell from Maine, USA

“Moving Still” by Hannah Costello from Canada/Costa Rica

Congratulations to everyone and thank you all for submitting.
